I floor it and drive like i normally due, i do not baby it at all and the get up and go is amazing. I did test drive the insight hybrid by honda and it max out at 43MPG doing 70mph. If you want to commute get this corolla. I drive 400 miles a week and i spend $97 a month. no brainer. Materials are hard plastic but if you think about it thats less fabric to have to be caring for. Simple wipe and you good to go. Seats are comfortable for my 160 mile round trip on one drive and thats a plus. LED headlights are stupid bright and light the path like day time. Toyota sense is 50/50 as it never match hondas but do yourself a favor and dont trust a car to do its driving until 2025 or so. Space is just crazy good, incredible trunk space for not loosing any from batteries for the hybrid system. No spare tire on mine but never had to use one in my entire life, check your tires and you should be fine as most tire issues are from not maintaining or properly inflated tires. Car is xxxxxxxx, and just nice car. Get one and forget about any other because the fact is, toyota is king on hybrids.
